     Sir Francis Drake, vice admiral to the English during the 1500’s, was a sailor, navigator, and privateer. He was heavily feared by his enemies, most namely the Spanish; even admired by some, secretly; and ‘singing the King of Spain’s beard’, by sailing right into the middle an enemy port, burning at least 100 ships, and sailing right back out again, before anyone even knew.
